Let's Celebrate!

Hi, Team Remote Families. At West Genesee, our motto has been "We Celebrate Learning" for as long as I can remember. And despite the challenges of teaching and learning during a pandemic, we have many reasons to celebrate. First and foremost are the relationships that were forged during the course of this very challenging school year. I feel like our shared experience has bonded us for life! I, for one, am grateful for the opportunity to work with such a dedicated group of teachers who put forth their best effort to make all of this work for our students. And despite seeing one another on screens for much of the year, our students had the opportunity to make new friends. 

As our Elementary parents and guardians know, the K-4 students had the opportunity to meet in-person for the first time as teachers planned gatherings to celebrate the end of the year. For those of you who were able to attend, I think you would agree that watching the students interact seemed as though they had all been friends all along!

  • Early Dismissal for WGMS (10:30 AM)

Remote Student Material Drop Off

Please be sure your child's Chromebook is labeled with their name. If the original label has fallen off, you can use masking tape to label it.


All Elementary Buildings:
Remote student material drop off will take place at each elementary building at the main offices on the following dates/times:
  • Thursday, June 24th, 12:00- 3:30 PM
  • Friday, June 25th, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
WGMS:
Remote student material drop off will take place at the Lobby/Front Entrance at WGMS on the following dates/times:
  • Wednesday, June 23rd, 2:30 - 5:00 PM
  • Thursday, June 24th, 8:00 - 10:00 AM
CMS:
Remote student material drop off will take place in the bus loop (not the parking lot). Tables will be marked.
